The wide legged pant – better known as culottes – are sticking around for another season. They burst onto the scene last summer and haven’t left. They’re offered in many different styles and good for all seasons.
The universally flattering pants can be found in many different fabrics. This season in particular, is offering culottes in crushed velvet, embellished denim, and more. Whether it’s casual knits for the weekend, or a polished charmeuse evening alternative, culottes are a great addition to any closet.
Some people think that this style can make them look short, however, you can easily add length with a pump or sandal (trust me I’m short). Alternatively, if you’re not vertically challenged like myself, you can go low-key with a white sneaker, mule or slide.
Wear them to brunch or even to work because culottes work for virtually any occasion.
